ＨＭＧ exempts royalty for nine peaks

Kathmandu,Apr.17(RSS):
On the occasion of the Visit, Nepal Year '98. His Majesty's Government has decided to
exempt royalty on Mt.Yala(5732m) in Rasuwa district, Mt.Chhukungri (5550m) and
Mt. Gokyori (5450m) in Solukhumbu district, Mt.Ramdrong (4499m) in Lamjung
district, Mt.Drahmo (6855m), Mt.Ramchaur (4500m),Mt.Ramtang (6601m) and
Mt.Tengkoma(6215m) in Taplejung district and Mt.Kangtokia (6294m) in Dolpa district
till the end of 1999,according to the mountaineering section of the Minstry of Tourism
and Civil Aviation.
The provision of liaison officer for the expedition teams to these above mentioned
peaks have been removed. However the expedition teams are required to take climbing
permission for these peaks from the Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation.

許可取得については従来どおり手続きが必要で、我々の場合は日山協の推薦状が
必要である。
